Shared accomodation
Introduction
The data platform of the Capital City of Prague has prepared an analysis of the accommodation offers and their utilization in Prague, provided via the Airbnb web service. This web service mediates accommodation rentals. Users who desire to rent a place via this accommodation platform first have to register and create their profiles. On the other hand, the host role is linked to the given property that is being advertised as a part of this web service.
The development and use of Airbnb services have been monitored since November 1st, 2017. The data was provided by Blahobyty, which manages rentals based on the given location and apartment layout.
In the first dashboard you can see a few interesting graphs or figures. For example yearly number of created and terminated offers, count of active offers. It's clear that this number is not increasing. There are more terminated offers than the new ones.
On the second page there are figures for last 12 months such as median price, active offers, number of stays. You can use an interactive filter (Prague city districts, accommodation type, etc.).
On the last page there's a percentage of flats that are rented via Airbnb and are rented permanently (more than 60 days in last 12 months).
In the second dashboard there's a map with Airbnb offers in Prague.
